1958 Eldorado Brougham
THE ULTIMATE LUXURY SYMBOL
HISTORY
The 1957-58 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham was the epitome of the American luxury vehicle. In an era when a Rolls-Royce cost $10,000, the Eldorado Brougham started at $13,074 - equivalent to $119,370 in today's dollars.
400 of these cars were made in 1957 and 304 in 1958. Around 20 are left today.
GM Design Chief Harley Earl combined a few features from Motorama show cars: Panorama windshield, pillarless suicide door configuration, and the brushed stainless steel roof.
